Whale Watching

From early June through out October there is a great certainty of spotting Humpback whales. 
These intellectual mammals are the acrobats of the ocean, breaching and slapping the water!
We sail with the boat Najaaraq M/S that has sailed the route for 2 years.  The whales are therefore accustomed to the sound of the boat so we can come up close to the whales - they are not even afraid to swim towards us!      

We sail to Nuuks fjord (Godthåbsfjord) where we can spot the amazing Humpback whales as well as encounter seals, eagles, seagulls, snow-owls and other seabirds.    
Furthermore, the tour offers a fantastic view over Nuuk, the mountain Sermitsiaq and the surrounding islands.
