Fishing trips in the beautiful scenic Nuuk fiord

Experience angling in the Arctic Nature!

Nuuks' surroundings offers anglers a fantastic get-away all year round in Nuuk's fantastic fjord complex, the second largest in the world. This trip is available for all, young and old - experienced as well as beginners of angling.  The fast-speed boat Spar 5 takes you to all the secret spots where your trophy fish lies waiting to bite.  Our captain guides you to the best-chosen areas of the season to fish Arctic Cod, Arctic Char, Atlantic Redfish and even Atlantic Halibut.  Factors such as weather, wind, water levels and recent fishing pressure are considered in deciding where to go. We fish from the boat.   
There is nothing compared to catching your own fish and enjoying the beautiful fjord-landscape!

Departures: Thursday 10.00 - 14.00

Tailor-made fishing-tours ca be arranged for groups.

Price DKK 650,- + 75,- DKK fishing licence. 

Guide included, coffee and tea on board. Children: 0-2 free/2-11 half price. 

Comments   
· Non-residents of Greenland under 18 years old need to acquire a fishing-licence (24 hours): 75,- DKK.  Fishing licences can be requested at Nuuk Tourism and are purchased at the post-office.  Please keep the receipt with you while fishing.
· Bring warm & watertight clothes, water, fishing gear and mosquito-protection during summer.
· Fishing gear can be rented at Nuuk Tourism, each includes one fishing rod and a box of accessories.  Price is 100,- for one day/200 weekend/450,- a week/200,- DKK deposit.  Warm rubber-boots can be rented at Nuuk Tourism for 25,- DKK per day/deposit 100,- DKK.
