A fascinating trip around the old and the modern Nuuk

We go to the Colonial Harbour, where we visit the Museum.  There the guide takes us to the famous Qilakitsoq mummies, the exciting Geology in Nuuk, the national costume, and the Qajak.  Visit the beautiful ''Our Saviours Church'' built in 1849.  We drive through the city to Ilisimatusarfik, the University of Greenland which is the worlds' smallest university.  In that area there are neo-Eskimo ruins. 

We drive further to the Atlantic Harbour, which is usually full of life.   From there we pass through Nuussuaq, the modern surburb of Nuuk, the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources, Grandmothers' Traditional Turf Hut and further to the new surburb of Nuuk Qinngorput. Then the tour ends at Katuaq, the cultural centre.
