A meditative guided walk in Paradis Valley

The tour starts the airport area, through the feet of Mt. Lille Malene towards the beautiful Paradise-valley (Paradisdalen).  Then we head towards the Circus-lake (Qallussuaq) where we take a break, enjoy the fresh spring-water and have a light lunch.  There is an opportunity to dip your feet in the lake as well as enjoy the view over to Mt. Sermitsiaq, Akia (Nordlandet) and Nuuk in a new dimension before we head back.
Then we head to the city where Nuuk Tourism will pick us up.

The tour offers you to experience the wilderness, just at Nuuks' doorstep.  The route takes us to the home of Arctic Hare, Caribou as well as the Arctic Fauna; including berries, moss and the national-flower Gederams (Chamanerion Latifolium).  The route crosses magnificent geology-formations and a wonderful waterfall.

Operation: 15th of June - 15th of Sep. (As long as the ground is uncovered by snow, the tour can also arranged at other dates,).

Departures: Nuuk Tourism

Comments
· The tour requires generally fit persons, however the walk is moderate (2 ½ degree)
· It is important to bring good hiking-shoes, warm and watertight clothes as well as mosquito-protection on a warm summer-day    There is a clear natural spring-water to enjoy on the tour.
· On a nice summer-day, there is an opportunity to bathe in a lake on the route; the temperature is about 1-2º celcius Thus, if you are willing to try lake-bathing, bring a bathing suit with you
· You won't be left behind! We hike together as a group at a steady pace, stopping for a good lunch and for snacks. Due to changeable weather conditions and the remoteness of the areas we visit, we insist that the group stay together
· We expect our tourists to help us in keeping the Arctic Nature unspoiled, and follow the WWF code of conduct for Arctic Tourists
